    Remove the gel from the cassette and wash it four times for 15 min, each in 0.5 L of distilled water, on a shaker. In order to avoid curling of the drying gel, incubate it for another 15 min in 1.5% (v/v) glycerol in distilled water. Dry the gel at room temperature in a dust-free cabinet.
